For 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Please join us in helping provide food and hope to hungry neighbors in southeast Michigan. Together, we will end hunger in our communities.

Throughout southeast Michigan, more than 650,000 people will face hunger this year.

Food for Thought on WJR

Hosted by Dr. Phillip Knight, Executive Director of the Food Bank Council of Michigan, the show Food for Thought’ is scheduled to air on Sunday nights at 8:00 PM after the Agriculture Report on News/Talk 760 AM WJR. Gerry Brisson, Chair of the Board of the Food Bank Council of Michigan, and President of Gleaners Community Food Bank will co-host the show. Topics include “Who’s Hungry,” “Spotlight on Senior Hunger,” and “Tools in the Anti-Hunger Tool Box – Creating the Safety Net”.
