 Hunger Free Summer Food Fight

You can make a difference for a hungry child this summer!

Thank you to all the participants in the 23rd Annual Hunger Free Summer Food Fight from Monday, July 17th through Friday, July 28th, 2017.

When school lets out, nearly 300,000 southeast Michigan children lose access to school-provided meals. By participating in the Hunger Free Summer Food Fight, you can help these kids enjoy a healthy and happy summer. The Food Fight is an annual food and fund collection in which organizations throughout the tri-county area compete against teams within their division to raise the most meals.

Thanks to your dedication to this great event we are increasing the number of people fed, together collecting enough food and money to provide 154,506 meals for kids this summer! The 23rd Annual Food Fight raised $44,032.14 and 27,661 pounds of food. A special congratulations to the winners from each category for this year’s fight:
