Court Ordered Community Service

Volunteers requiring documentation of hours in order to complete court-ordered community service must meet special requirements, and must have their service pre-approved before signing up for a volunteer shift.

  • Volunteers with the following charges may NOT perform their service with Gleaners: offenses of a violent or sexual nature, offenses involving guns, offenses involving children, fraud, theft, or larceny. Other offenses may be added to the list at the discretion of Gleaners staff.
  • Volunteers must bring a valid driver’s license, state-issued picture identification card or passport, along with the court paperwork stating the charge and the number of service hours required.
  • Volunteers must complete the form below or call 1-866-453-2637 and wait to be contacted for service pre-approval. Note: Court-ordered Community Service Volunteers may not self-register for volunteer shifts using VolunteerHub.
