You Can be a Hunger Hero!

Donate Now! round button Help Gleaners meet its goal to help our hungry neighbors! Because of the urgent need created during tough economic times, Gleaners needs to increase its supply of food by 2,000,000 pounds. Your donation will help us ensure food security for children, families and seniors. Become a Gleaners Hunger Hero with a donation of $1,000 or more: donate today to Gleaners.

Gleaners Quick Facts:
  • More than 400 pantries, shelters, churches, soup kitchens and other distributors of emergency food rely on Gleaners.
  • For Thanksgiving, Gleaners with special help from Charter One Bank, will provide more than 10,000 turkeys to our hungry neighbors in need of assistance.
  • Local donors of food have helped make the difference in national donations, but with higher demand, the need is still urgent and the food supply dangerously low.
  • Without help now, children, seniors and families asking for food are at risk of not being served.
  • 1,000,000 pounds of food feeds approximately 10,000 people for one month.

Cure Hunger HereAbout Cure Hunger Here

For the past 30 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has emerged as a leader and innovator in food banking. In spite of our accomplishments, we still need your help in order to get more food to more people in need. As a result of our success, many community members and our more than 400 partner agencies have asked us to take a leadership role to help meet the growing needs in our community. Because of this, we have decided to celebrate our 30th anniversary by building greater awareness and asking our neighbors to CURE HUNGER HERE. More info...
