Children's Hospital Cereal Drive
Hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation, so the Children’s Hospital of Michigan is collecting food and funds to curb child hunger this summer. Drop off your cereal donation at any participating location or visit our virtual cereal drive to make a secure online donation.Friday, May 31 – Friday, June 7

Charity Miles - Benefitting Feeding America
Charity Miles is an iPhone/Android app that empowers you to help feed hungry neighbors by walking, running or biking. As you exercise, the app tracks your distance and you earn money to help feed hungry neighbors. Higher Grounds Coffee - Michigan SMOOTH
Higher Grounds Trading Co. is selling whole bean and ground coffee to benefit Michigan nonprofits including Gleaners, Focus: Hope and The Michigan Land Use Institute. A generous $5 donation is made for every bag purchased.Now - September 30

Heart of Michigan Customer Appreciation Day
It is Customer Appreciation Day at Heart of Michigan! The first 50 people who arrive with at least 10 nonperishable food items will receive a free gift bag full of Michigan Made products! Live music, free product samples, and prize raffles will continue throughout the day.Saturday, June 1
Segway Tours to Benefit Gleaners!
Segways2U is offering a special “Gleaners Tour” at 2pm where you’ll cruise through the Eastern Market, Dequindre Cut, Heidelberg Project, and Gleaners’ Detroit HQ - where we’ll give you a short tour of the food bank! Two Wheels for Meals Poker Run
Join us in a ride to erase hunger. Starting at Biker Bob's in Taylor, MI, this poker run will visit four Gleaners locations, stopping at each for refreshments, raffles, and giveaways. Woodward Ave Gran Fondo
The Woodward Ave Gran Fondo is a 54 mile RT Bike Rally running the length of Woodward Ave/M-1 from Detroit to Pontiac. Participants have the chance to win numerous prizes, including a brand new MADE IN DETROIT Shinola Bicycle. Partial registration proceeds go to Gleaners.Sunday, June 30
