    Detroit UNCORKED 2015
    The 11th annual Detroit Uncorked is returning to delight the Greater Detroit community from 6-9 p.m. at Gleaners Community Food Bank.  This year’s event will benefit Gleaners and feature more than 250 world class wines, Michigan handcrafted beers and premium spirits, delectable food pairings, live entertainment and exciting silent auction items.

    Mow Down Hunger
    Weingartz, Michigan’s locally-owned and operated provider of outdoor power equipment, has stepped forward and offered to help Gleaners provide nutritious meals to hungry children each weekend. You can help us raise one million meals for hungry kids - Weingartz will double your donation!

    The Auction: A Team Brewing Event @ Cap N Cork Homebrew Supply
    The Auction, a Team Brewing Event is a unique homebrewing competition that melds skill, cunning and teamwork into one ruthless event. On top of all that proceeds will go to help support Gleaners. 5% of Cap N Cork sales that day, as well as all of the silent auction and raffle proceeds will go to Gleaners.

    Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber & Gleaners present the 12th Annual Vine & Dine - Sip, Savor & Stroll at Cranbrook Institute of Science. Featuring bites from 15+ local restaurants like Big Rock Chophouse, Cameron’s Steakhouse, Streetside Seafood & more. Sips from Granite City Food & Brewery, Hills Fine Wine and Spirits, Michigan Grape & Wine Industry Council & more. Proceeds benefit Gleaners.

    Enjoy one of Firebird Tavern’s fabulous drinks of the week and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to help feed hungry neighbors through Gleaners Community Food Bank.

    Detroit Free Press Marathon
    Andrew Mehall of Russell Street Deli is running the 2015 Detroit Free Press and Talmer Bank Marathon with a goal of raising $8,000 for Gleaners in the process. You can support Andrew and help him provide meals for those in need!

    New Center Eatery Fall Waffle Promotion
    New Center Eatery is set to release a new waffle flavor each month that will be available daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These limited edition flavors, which will run until November, include S’mores, Carrot Cake and Sweet Potato with $0.50 from every order going directly to Gleaners!

    Gleaner Day at Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village sponsored by Gleaner Insurance
    Join us at Greenfield Village in Dearborn for Gleaner Day 2015! By purchasing one ticket to Greenfield Village and donating five nonperishable food items (or $5), you will receive a second ticket (of equal or lesser value) for free compliments of Gleaner Insurance.

    FREE Flu Shot Clinic
    Bring 5 nonperishable food items to the Auburn Hills Community Center & Rochester College Theatre clinics and receive a FREE Flu vaccination and health screening courtesy of Alana’s Foundation (they will cover the cost of flu vaccines for those without any insurance).
