Fill the Gazebo is an annual Livingston County community-wide food and fund drive that began in 2003. Over the years, many Livingston residents, businesses, civic groups, places of worship, and other organizations have participated in this community drive. The Livingston County Association of REALTORS® has organized the drive for 13 years in partnership with Gleaners Community Food Bank.
Traditionally, this event takes place the first Saturday of May and coordinates with the opening day of the Brighton Farmers' Market.
Livingston residents are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items on Saturday, May 2 from
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. to one of the following locations:
Suggested items to donate: tuna, Spaghetti O's, canned meat, and chunky soup.
Fill the Gazebo Virtual Food Drive: Can't make it to the event? That's okay, you can still participate! Go to www.gcfb.org/FilltheGazebo to donate today!
Last year, we collected 5,300 pounds of food in addition to $11,431 in cash donations. This provided a grand total of 38,692 nutritious meals for children over the summer.
Anyone can host a Food & Fund Drive. Each drive can be custom-made to fit your organization’s abilities, whether you’re a large corporation, school, small church group or private family.
