Gleaners Community Food Bank Is Speaking Out Against Hunger!

September is Hunger Action Month, and Gleaners Community Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America network, is asking individuals to take action to fight hunger in our community.

Hunger affects communities all across the country—rural, urban, and suburban. Right here in southeast Michigan, 1 in 6 people struggle with hunger. The problem is closer than you think, but so is the solution.

As individuals, charities, businesses, and government, we all have a role to play in getting food to those in need. Almost 47 million people in America struggle with hunger often do so in silence. They live in our communities; they are our neighbors, our co-workers, and our friends, yet their struggles can go unheard. Throughout the campaign, Gleaners will call on you to take action.

Here are a few ways you can get involved!
