Hope Center is a no-cost client choice food pantry that is set up in a grocery store format. We distribute food based upon the number of members in the household. Access to the food pantry is limited to 6 times per year, no more than once every 30 days.
At Hope Center, our primary goal is to connect those in need with the services that can best meet their needs. Often times, we can meet the need right at Hope Center (as is the case with our food pantry) but when we can't we will do our best to help you find someone who can meet your need.
Hope Center aims to be a one-stop shop for services in Macomb County. In order to fulfill that goal, we have numerous Non-profit and community service agencies on site.
WW Community Connections, Inc. (WWCC), Hope Center's parent organization, exists to "Connect Community Resources To Those In Need."
In an effort to achieve this goal, WWCC has developed the Hope Center in Macomb. Hope Center in Macomb is a "one-stop-shop," also referred to as a "human services mall," that will provide access to services for individuals and families in need. The focal point of the "one-stop-shop" will be the client-choice food pantry, the only client-choice food pantry in Macomb County, which will stand as the cornerstone and main focus of Hope Center in Macomb. All other services will be provided by on-site or by referral to the appropriate county or community agencies.
Our client base is low-income, unemployed, and under-employed individuals and families who are in need of food, job services, humanitarian services, and/or the appropriate referrals for housing assistance. The services provided by Hope Center focus on increasing the self-sufficiency of individuals and families.
The ultimate goal of Hope Center in Macomb is to offer individuals and families in crisis, immediate intervention services as needed and also long term services, to aid them in achieving self-sufficiency. Hope Center allows all of its clients access to these services with compassion, dignity, and respect.
