The 2012 Livingston Iron Chef served up an intense competition, with defending champion Chef Tammy Young of The Wooden Spoon defend her title against challenger Oak Pointe Country Club’s Chef Patrick Srock. Chefs created an appetizer, entrée and dessert with the ‘secret ingredient’ - BACON! The votes came within a few points, with Chef Tammy successfully winning her second Iron Chef title.
Great food was had by all, with attendees dining on plates prepared by several local restaurants and markets. Over 500 people came together for the 8th annual event, raising more than 280,000 meals for hungry individuals in Livingston County.
Gleaners thanks every one that came together for the 8th Annual Livingston Iron Chef. Together, we made a big difference for hungry neighbors!
