National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Along with Gleaners, hundreds of NALC branches throughout the country participated in the 21st annual NALC Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive last Saturday, May 11 to provide assistance to the rapidly increasing number of Americans who are struggling with hunger.

Don't worry, we've got you covered.

If you were unable to provide food items, or you missed the pickup by your letter carrier, you can still participate! Your generous Stamp Out Hunger virtual food drive donation will provide our hungry neighbors with the nutritious and healthy meals they need. 

Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 93 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor. Please click here to make a gift today →

What you should know about your donation:

• Your donation stays local, helping neighbors in your community! Gleaners distributes food to more than 550 partner agencies across southeast Michigan. We give your Stamp Out Hunger donations to agencies located in your community! View our list of partners here. 

• One in six people will need emergency food this year.

• More than 40% of the people Gleaners serves are children and 7% are elderly.

Out Hunger Food Drive Results

 

Gleaners thanks our hardworking letter carriers and compassionate community members for making the 20th annual Stamp Out Hunger a success. More than 1.2 million pounds of food were collected to help feed hungry families in southeast Michigan.
