Saturday, May 9th marks the 23rd anniversary of one of America’s great days of giving — the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food drive. Letter carriers will collect nonperishable food donations from generous community members across the country. These donations go directly to local food pantries to provide food to people in need, and there are many neighbors in southeast Michigan who need our help.
1. Place nonperishable food donations in a bag.
2. Leave the bag at your mailbox on May 9th by 9am.
3. Your letter carrier will pick up your donation and deliver it to a local food bank or pantry like Gleaners!
Anyone can host a Food & Fund Drive. Each drive can be custom-made to fit your organization’s abilities, whether you’re a large corporation, school, small church group or private family.
