My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery
My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery (MNMG) is a nutritionally-focused pop-up grocery that provides families and individuals who have low access to affordable, healthy foods with a new and innovative shopping option within their communities. Offering a wide, competitively-priced product mix that balances client choice with nutritional products, educational programming, and free food give-a-ways to incentivize increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, MNMG extends the purchasing power of shoppers.
Volunteers are needed at four of our pilot sites in Detroit and Macomb County to greet shoppers, pull orders off our truck, and bag orders for customers. Please note that we cannot accommodate groups of more than five adults. Must be age 18 or older. We cannot accommodate court-ordered volunteers within this volunteer opportunity.
