As the new school year begins, we’re celebrating the amazing impact of last year’s Hunger Heroes School Challenge. Students, faculty, and families across Southeast Michigan came together with energy and compassion—hosting food and fund drives to support neighbors facing food insecurity.
Thanks to the generosity of our school communities, more than 420,000 meals were provided to kids and families in our region. That’s thousands of students and supporters showing that when we work together, we can make sure everyone has access to the nutritious food they need to thrive.
We are so grateful for our school partners who continue to step up year after year. Your commitment makes a real difference, and we couldn’t do this work without you.
