Detroit Public Library Hunger Action Month Food and Fund Drive

Gleaners is proud to partner with the Detroit Public Library during Hunger Action Month to help our neighbors get involved in ways to solve hunger across Southeast Michigan. All 17 Detroit Public Library Branches are hosting food and fund drives for Gleaners throughout the month of September.

To kick off this month of collaboration, Gleaners team members will be at several library branch locations on September 1st from noon-2 pm to answer your questions about Gleaners, Hunger Action Month and how you can make a difference. You can find us at the Redford, Sherwood Forest, Jefferson, Parkman, and Main library branches.

Every library location will accept donations of shelf-stable food throughout the month of September for Gleaners. We especially need high-protein items like peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna and beans.
