Wasserman Projects, an art gallery and presentation space in the heart of Detroit’s Eastern Market, is donating 10% of all sales from their current exhibition now through June 1st to Gleaners Community Food Bank in support of our emergency response efforts.
While Wasserman Project’s physical space is closed during the state of emergency, you can view the current exhibition online—including over 100 individual works ranging from $75 – $50,000. Please contact us info@wassermanprojects.com for a full catalogue or if you have any questions.
Gleaners is honored to have the support of Wasserman Project during this urgent time of need. This donation will make twice the impact—thanks to our Powered By Food initiative.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gleaners has been expanding our services to reach children, families and seniors affected by the state of emergency. Our ongoing School Food Mobiles help reach the 300,000 students in Michigan who are missing free and reduced-price school meals. New food distribution sites throughout our five-county service area are providing nutritious groceries to an additional 40,000 households affected by the crisis. We are also reaching at-risk seniors with emergency food boxes. Learn more about our emergency response efforts here.
