Food/Education Programs

Each year, Gleaners distributes millions of pounds of food through our network of partner pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers and other agencies that directly feed hungry people. We also reach our neighbors in need through mobile distributions and programs that are designed to directly reach children.

Meetup Main

Meet Up and Eat Up

Meet Up and Eat Up and our after-school food programs help to provide meals to children and families 3 times a day, 365 days a year.

Mobilepantry Program2

Mobile Pantries

Gleaners Community Food Bank and its partner agencies are providing food to neighborhoods by the truckload! Featuring an average of 14,000 pounds of food, the mobile pantry allows our partners to target areas of need where no pantry currently exists.

Healthcare Program Participant

Healthcare Initiatives

Gleaners has made partnering with the healthcare industry an integral part of our strategic plan. Investing in strategic partnerships with healthcare enables us to reach food-insecure people we’ve never been able to reach before.

Cooking Matters Programs

Cooking Matters™

Cooking Matters™ is a groundbreaking nutrition-education program that connects low-income individuals and families with food by teaching them how to prepare healthy, tasty meals on a limited budget.
