About Gleaners' Food Assistance Programs

Gleaners distributes millions of pounds of free, nutritious food through our network of partner pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers, and other agencies. In addition, we operate Community and School Food Mobile distributions across Southeast Michigan, providing fresh produce, lean proteins, dairy, and pantry staples to neighbors facing hunger.

All About SNAP

SNAP benefits can provide life-changing assistance to neighbors facing hunger during times of crisis or when resources are few.

CSFP

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides a monthly box of quality USDA food to income-eligible older adults.

Drive-Up Distributions

Gleaners' community mobile drive-up distributions operate 5 days a week and provide guests with ~35lbs of free, nutritious food.
