Gleaners is enrolling volunteers into the Link2Feed Launch Volunteer Corps.
Once trained, volunteers will then be advised as opportunities arise that match their skill set. Volunteers may then choose to sign up or not for each opportunity, based on their availability. We require a background check for all Link2Feed volunteering shifts.
Brief descriptions of the volunteer roles needed are provided below. More detailed descriptions are available here.
Client Intake Volunteer
Assist with client intake and profile creation during the launch of Link2Feed at partner agencies.
Link2Feed Remote Data Entry
Join our team of trained volunteers assisting with data entry in Link2Feed (L2F). Volunteers will work remotely and must have access to a computer and the internet. L2F is cloud-based service insights software that helps the southeast Michigan emergency food network better serve our neighbors as well as understand who is not being reached. After training, you will be added to the L2F Data Entry Team List. We’ll share regular opportunities to participate. Most assignments can be completed in one to three hours. You may help with as many or as few assignments as you choose.
