Gleaners Community Food Bank is excited to announce the 2025 Hunger Free Summer 5K Run and Walk! With the support of our incredible community, Gleaners continues to work toward our mission of creating a food-secure Southeast Michigan.  

When school is out, many children lose access to the meals they rely on, but the Hunger Free Summer campaign helps bridge that gap. Gleaners can provide 3 meals for every dollar donated. Thanks to a match from Citizens and other generous donors, for every dollar raised through registrations or donations to this event, Gleaners can provide six meals to families facing hunger.

Please join us as we come together to race toward a food-secure community on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Freedom River in Brighton, Michigan.
