WHAT: Kroger will partner with MotorCity Harley-Davidson to host Ride Out Hunger, its first Poker Run motorcycle ride to support Zero Hunger | Zero Waste in local Michigan communities. All ride proceeds will benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank.
Scott Hays, president, The Kroger Co. of Michigan, will lead the ride on his own motorcycle and bikers will stop at three Kroger locations to retrieve poker cards. The rider with the best poker hand at the end of the ride will win a getaway to the Soaring Eagle Casino Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, MI, including a two-night stay in a first-class room, $200 dining credit and $200 credit to the Soaring Eagle Spa.
A huge parking lot party featuring music, food, drinks and more will be held at Farmington Hills MotorCity Harley-Davidson, the ride’s end location. Enthusiasts who do not participate in the ride are invited to the party.
